Event Details
Step into a collaborative creative space where artists, writers, and worldbuilders come together to design standout characters. In this hands-on session, local artist Finn Heenan will guide the group through the building blocks of character design while encouraging teens to share ideas, trade sketches, and shape concepts together.
Inspired by anime, video games, mythology, and Finn’s own in-progress story ALTered, this workshop blends art and storytelling into an interactive, studio-style experience. Teens who love anime, cyberpunk, fantasy, and sci-fi will especially enjoy the group brainstorming moments and concept swaps built into the session.
Whether you’ve been sketching for years or you just love imagining new characters, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, new techniques, and maybe even a few collaborators.
